FIELD: Doppler-effect instruments which measure vector constituents of speed, height (distance) and angles of local vertical direction. SUBSTANCE: method involves sending of frequency-modulated signal to earth, reception of reflected signal, its amplification and filtration from noises in transmitter signal and noises outside of bandwidth of possible Doppler-effect frequencies, its conversion to double reference frequency. After amplification signal is divided into two constituents, one of which contains Doppler-effect frequency which is caused by Doppler shift of upper side frequency of transmitted signal. Second constituent contains Doppler-effect frequency which is caused by Doppler shift of lower side frequency of transmitted signal. Conversion to double reference frequency is achieved by mixing of separated signals and their filtration at double reference frequency. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 5 dwg
