FIELD: radar.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar, specifically to radar with a broadband noise sounding signal, and can be used in radar stations with a continuous noise signal. Disclosed method, which uses a double spectral processing method, further includes an operation for shifting the spectrum of the reference signal by Doppler frequency in each probing period. For this purpose, the reference signal is scaled in time, which is equivalent to the expansion of its spectrum and, consequently, to the shift of all frequencies of the signal spectrum by the value of the Doppler additive. Shift of the spectrum of the reference signal by the Doppler frequency leads to the fact that as a result of double spectral processing, correlation emissions of fixed objects are suppressed and correlation emissions of moving targets are selected, wherein the speed of which corresponds to the current Doppler additive in the reference signal. Noise radar for implementing the method is also disclosed.

EFFECT: reliable detection of small-size moving targets on the background of fixed objects while providing high stealthiness.
