CATCHING TACKLE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: fish industry. SUBSTANCE: squid catching tackle has rod made of flexible material with fasteners, dome-shaped elongated downwards widening members secured in tandem on rod and made of elastic flexible material, stopping devices and base with rim of hooks fitted on one end of rod. Base is rounded off in upper portion and has convexity in lower portion. Size of dome-shaped members increases towards base. Each members has cavity in upper portion and convexity in lower portion. Radial grooves are formed in member mated with base for fitting the hooks. Radial recesses are made in middle portion of each dome-shaped member which form through channels accommodating inserts which are essentially cross-connected perforated plates with recesses. With tackle pulled, water passes through channels with inserts, thus forming acoustic field attracting squids to tackle. Automation of catching is provided owing to making of tackle from elastic material. EFFECT: increased catch. 7 dwg
