FIELD: preparation of powders. SUBSTANCE: plasma-chemical cupric oxide is reduced in glycerol medium in presence of ammonium carbonate in preferable weight ratio 1: (0.15-0.20):(1.10-1.20), respectively, at 210-230 C followed by cooling reaction products, separating powder from organic solution, washing and drying powder. EFFECT: eliminated using carbamide, reduced glycerol content in reaction mixture, and increased productivity due to increased charge of cupric oxide powder. 3 cl, 1 tbl
