FIELD: materials handling; transportation of loose and small lump materials. SUBSTANCE: device for connecting screw sections of screw conveyor has shaft connection unit with bushings fitted in adjacent shafts, end face of one bushing is made in form of outer sphere, and cams of "boss-recess" type to transmit rotation from one adjacent shaft to the other. Cams of "boss-recess" type are arranged over perimeter of end of each adjacent shaft, and thread end of bolt with nut of second adjacent shaft is fitted in central hole of bushing of first adjacent shaft. Head of bolt of second adjacent shaft is made spherical. Bolt proper is installed for radially turning in taper hole of bushing on end of second shaft. Outer spherical surface of this bushing gets into taper hole of bushing on end of first butt-joined shaft. Outer surface of bolt head and end of bushing of second adjacent shaft have common center being concentric spherical surfaces. Common center of concentric spherical surfaces of bolt head and end of bushing of second shaft is located in center of symmetry of cams in assembled state.
