FIELD: locking hardware. SUBSTANCE: latch has body, inner and outer handles, square-section rod passing inside handles and having grooves. Also provided are spring-loaded span-piece and push-button located inside inner handle, cover plate located at side of inner handle and having square hole for rod. Inner handle is installed for possible turning relative to rod. Means for returning push-button to initial position is made up of pin installed on rod perpendicularly to its axis and shaped as cramp with double-direction bevels which are located symmetrically relative to rod axis. These bevels interact with pin installed on square rod which additionally interacts with walls of square hole made inside inner handle. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
