FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: windmill has turning platform 1 with vertical stabilizer for setting it into the wind, runner 3 with horizontal shaft 4 perpendicular to vertical stabilizer which is provided with supports 6 on mounts 5 and coupled via gear transmission with power take-off shaft 7 and parallel rings 8 mounted on the latter with stiff adjustable blades 9 inbetween placed on axles 10 parallel to shaft 9 for rotating in conjunction with them relative to runner shaft, their number being 1:2 in supports 11 arranged on ring and kinematically coupled with runner shaft via transmission built up of bevel gears 17 mounted on ends of axles of radial shafts 20 and gears 18, 19 set on their ends with gear 21 fitted on turning bushing 22 provided with wind vane 23 secured to bushing by means of levers 24. Runner is set in motion by velocity head of wind acting on blades, and gears 12 on ends of runner shaft impart their rotary motion to gears 13 on ends of power take-off shaft through gears 15, 16 mounted on ends of vertical shaft 16 of reduction gear secured on impeller mounts.
