FIELD: identification or credit cards or other documents which require authentication. SUBSTANCE: device has at least two layers which are connected to each other. One layer is made from opaque material, another one is made from transparent or reflecting material. Reflecting day-light hologram is generated in layer of opaque material and covers all area of information carrier. Picture which is used for authentication of information carrier is viewed at angle of less than 45 degrees with respect to plane of information carrier. Stored information picture may contain text and graphical images which are generated by removal of material from parts of opaque layer by means of laser engraving.
