FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: lower extremity prosthesis has artificial foot 1, foot fasteners, bearing assembly 4, parts and assemblies of the prosthesis proximal part; the prosthesis uses quick-change lock 2, whose detachable body is secured on the foot, and stationary body 7 is secured on the prosthesis bearing assembly; the lock stationary and detachable bodies have mated tapered surfaces used as centering traps at joining the foot to the prosthesis proximal part, and additional locking tapered surfaces mated with locking rolling members 9. The locking rolling members are placed in a separator in a movable and spring-loaded joint on the stationary body. The additional locking tapered surfaces of the stationary and detachable bodies jointly with the locking rolling members make up an automatic lock that locks the foot on the prosthesis, and the movable spring- loaded joint of the separator on the stationary body and different taper angles of the locking surfaces provide for manual detachment of the lock by disengagement of the locking rolling members from the locking surfaces to the zone, where the clearance between the locking surfaces exceeds the diameter of the locking rolling member, thus producing the lock "unlocking" effect. EFFECT: expanded abilities of the prosthesis due to the fact that the invalid can quickly, unassisted, replace the foot secured on the prosthesis with feet of different functional, supporting and working purposes, with feet with foot-wear of various types preliminary fastened to them, including high boots, valenki, etc. 2 dwg
