FIELD: construction; design of support and method of its erection. SUBSTANCE: novelty in the support design consists in that blocks forming the support are of cubic shape with truncated one fourth. One of block bases has sockets located in two opposite corners, and adjacent corner has pin. The other base has pins in two opposite corners and adjacent corners has socket. Two solid faces of tier adjacent blocks adjacent to each other have, respectively, sockets and pins and pins and sockets. Novelty in the method consists in that the blocks of the lower tier are laid over inner and outer rows with orientation in the block inner row of the truncated one fourth inside with formation of central free space by adjacent blocks of this row, and over the other row, with orientation of the truncated one fourth to outside, and adjoining of solid face of block to solid face of block of inner row and in each overlying tier, the blocks are installed in one row with orientation of the truncated one fourth outside, formation in each tier, beginning from the second one, of central free space, with volume equalling that of block truncated one fourth, and resting of each block of the second tier on one part of four blocks of the first tier, and beginning with the third tier with resting of each block on two blocks of underlying tier.
