FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: method comes to compression of spring by means of external device to provide preset effort and fixing the spring in position. This is done by making depressions in several points on air chamber housing. Pressure regulator has fuel chamber housing 1, air chamber housing 2, diaphragm 3, fuel inlet hole 4, fuel outlet hole 5, seat 6, locking member 7, cylindrical spring 6, spring socket 10, and branch pipe 12. Spring 8 is compressed to provide required effort and its position is fixed by depressions made on air chamber housing either along perimeter of guide portion of spring socket or housing bottom. EFFECT: facilitated adjustment. 6 cl, 1 dwg
