FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel devices of internal combustion engines. Proposed fuel pressure regulator has valve housing with filtering element secured by ring member and fuel and air chambers divided by diaphragm. Fuel chamber bottom is provided with inlet hole in form of slots and outlet hole through which union passes coaxially with housing axis. End face surface of union arranged in fuel chamber serves as seat. Fuel chamber accommodates spring-loaded locking member in form of hemisphere connected with diaphragm through diaphragm unit. Elastic member in form of cylindrical is arranged in air chamber. Outer surface of union is made in form of cone. Cup is secured on outer end face surface of bottom of fuel chamber. Wall of cup is rolled on ring member holding filtering element.
EFFECT: reduced cost of manufacture and improved assembling technology of fuel pressure regulators of proposed type.
