FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: actuator has housing, shaft with a gear wheel mounted inside the housing, and piston with a rack which interacts with the gear wheel. The piston is provided with a through groove for receiving the rack which is mounted in the groove without a spaced relation with respect to the sides and radially movable with respect to the piston. The piston has a movable stop mounted for permitting movement along the axle interacting with the end face of the rack the bearing surface of which is parallel to the axis of the piston.
