DRIVE OF VALVE OF FILTER VAT UNLOADED Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: brewing industry; control of hinged valve in unloading brewing waste from vat. SUBSTANCE: drive has cylindrical housing which consists of three parts with through slot in its center portion, lifting screw located inside housing for rotation in ball bearings fitted in end parts of housing. Nut of lifting screw is made in form of slider for reciprocating in center part of housing and is provided with two ears which are located in its center portion for motion in through slot of housing. Shackle hinged on axle in holes of ears is used for kinematic linkage; shackle is connected with lever which is secured on opposite end of drive shaft on side of drive. Each ear of nut is detachable; it is provided with fastenings for securing it to nut which is made in form of half-ring with cylindrical center portion; it is provided with circular bore for receiving the half-rings of ears.
