FIELD: medical engineering, magnetotherapy, stomatology. SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following steps: removing dental calculus, medicamentous treatment of parodont tissues, followed by subjecting this dental area to effects of permanent magnetic field generated by source made in the form of elastic plate filled with ferromagnetic powder. Plate is placed onto surface to be treated. Parodont tissues are treated with magnetic field with heterogeneous polygradient structure and simultaneously causing plate to perform low-frequency vibrations. Realization of invention enhanced permeability of membranes and accelerates chemical reactions in which free radicals of stationary parodont cells participate due to effect of variable low-frequency component of magnetic field. Magnetotherapy also intensifies convective processes, thereby promoting metabolic processes to such point at which starts restoration of normal functioning of parodont cells and regeneration of osseous tissue of alveolae. Besides, variable low-frequency component of magnetic field contributes to restore normal depth of gum pocket. EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment. 6 cl, 2 dwg
