FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: face-grinding machine-tool has bad, cross support with carriage 3 and longitudinal table 2, spindle stand with a grinding head, electromechanical drives for longitudinal movement of the table and lateral movement of the carriage, reduction gear 8, drive of vertical movement of the grinding head, and mechanism for manual movement of the cross table and the grinding head. Electromechanical drive 4 for longitudinal movement of the table has hollow driven pulley 5 through which spline shaft 6 passes. One of the ends of the spline shaft is freely connected with gear wheel-pulley 7 of reduction gear 8 for longitudinal movement of table 2 mounted on carriage 3. The other end is coupled with flywheel 9 of mechanism 10 for manual movement of longitudinal table 2 arranged on bad 1. A rope, e.g. gear belt 17, embraces the gear wheel-pulley and its output ends are coupled with the longitudinal table from both end face sides. The reduction gear for vertical movement of the grinding head is provided with a brake made up as two solenoid clutches mounted on the driving shaft of the reduction gear. One of the clutches is connected with the driven pulley of the drive. The other clutch is coupled with the housing of the reduction gear. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 8 dwg
