FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed process for preparing butadiene by polymerization of butadiene in aromatic solvent under effect of n-butyl lithium as catalyst. At one of the process stages (polymerization, sto washing or the like) cross-linking agent such as quinole ether (product of reaction of O,O- bis-ether of p-quinonedioxime and 2,4,6-tri-tert-butyl phenol is added to polymerizate o rubber in amount of 0.01-1.0 wt% per monomer. The claimed process is advantageous in that polybutadiene of mixed structure having good plasticity, fluidity high physical and mechanical properties may be obtained.
