FIELD: organic chemistry, methods for purifying fat stock from free fatty acids; may be used for production of edible and technical vegetable oils and fats, as well as detergents. SUBSTANCE: fat stock containing vegetable oils and fats is neutralized with aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide in presence of sodium salts of sulfuric or phosphoric acids or mixture thereof. Resulting sodium soaps and salts are present in ratio from 4:1 to 19:1. Neutralized oil and sodium soaps forming precipitate are separated. To concentrate sodium soaps neutral fats are extracted from precipitate by hydrogen solvent. EFFECT: HIGHER EFFICIENCY. 2 CL, 1 TBL
