FIELD: valving. SUBSTANCE: valve gate has rod with a spherical valving member that is in a contact with a conical seat. The valving member is provided with a space that forms a wall whose thickness increases in the direction of the center of the sphere. The line tangent to the seat is in the plane that intersects the ring wall. The thickness of the ring wall in the plane of the cross-section that passes through the line of initial tangency is greater than the thickness of the wall in the plane of the cross-section.
