FIELD: detection of flaws in important parts made of materials heavier than iron. SUBSTANCE: gamma-ray flaw detector has object table, positron-active radiator of simultaneous pairs of probing and reference photons, spectrometric detector of Compton scattered photons with detecting circuit of signal amplitude, spectrometric detector of reference photons with detecting circuit and control of amplitude of reference signal. Signals from both outputs of detecting circuits go to linear adder of amplitudes which output is connected to amplitude analyzer of summary signal. Ratio signal/back- ground and image contrast increase thanks to summing of amplitudes of simultaneous reference and reflected (scattered) signals. EFFECT: expanded application field. 3 cl, 3 dwg
