FIELD: collimation-free Compton gamma flaw detection and stereoscopy. SUBSTANCE: radionuclide, such as 64Cu, is sealed between substrate and converter made of metal indium by welding substrate and converter while mechanically compressing them to each other. Converter thickness equals length of energetic positron free path in metal indium. Capsule is electrolytically strengthened by passive or noble indium. Capsule is electrolytically strengthened by passive or noble metal. This gives three to five fold increase in specific activity of radiator and reduces encapsulation time to 1- 2 s. EFFECT: improved specific activity of radiator and reduced encapsulation time. 2 cl, 2 dwg
