FIELD: nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear and radiation physics and can be used for detecting gamma- or deceleration radiation of powerful pulsed sources, for example a linear induction accelerator. In the proposed method responses are generated by converting radiation to obtain secondary radiations of different physical nature and detecting the secondary radiations transmitted over different physical communication channels to form responses with different spectral characteristics. The obtained responses are combined until their conversion to electrical analogues.
EFFECT: increased accuracy (without changing accuracy of determining absolute amplitude) of measuring relative amplitude of electrical analogues of responses generated from effect of pulses streams of gamma-quanta or deceleration radiation on the measuring system, including during change of radiation streams from a pulsed source in the range of several orders and during prolonged operation with the circuit, as well as achieving virtual independence of measurement accuracy on time for heating the device and simultaneous long-term stability of the measuring circuit.
