FIELD: optical instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to stabilization of optical image of observed objects in optical instruments mounted on mobile base and is intended for design of telescopic observation systems of binocular type. Proposed binoculars with stabilization system built-in has case 1 with two telescopic system installed inside it. Each system incorporates objective lens 2, prism erecting system 5, eye-piece 7 and image stabilization system composed of gyrotachometer 8 electrically coupled to proper amplifiers and drives of mobile optical elements 3,4 anchored in elastic suspensions 10 hard-mounted in case and power supply source 18. Mobile optical elements 3,4 are fabricated in the from of pair of mirrors installed in series in path of ray and arranged so that planes having incident and reflecting rays and normal to reflecting surface of each mirror are mutually perpendicular, i.e. mobile mirrors form analog of prism BM-90-90. Suspension axis of mirror 3 first in path of ray is parallel to sensitivity axis of gyrotachometer 8 and suspension axis of second mirror 4 is perpendicular to plane where mutually perpendicular sensitivity axes of gyrotachometer 8 are located. Special feature of invention consists in that sensitivity axes of gyrotachometer are so oriented with reference to suspension axes of mobile mirrors that summary movement of image observed in binocular presents sum of mutually perpendicular movements with equal coefficients of optical observation, namely 1:2, relative to mirrors 3,4 along both directions. EFFECT: increased quality of visual-optical observation in presence of external angular vibrations of case of binocular, for instance, due to tremor of hands, when observation time is not limited. 2 dwg
