ALUMINIUM OXIDE, STABILIZED SILICIUM DIOXIDE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2081062 C1

FIELD: production of catalysts. SUBSTANCE: aluminium hydroxide is affected by rapid dehydration. Thus prepared powder of aluminium oxide is affected by ageing which takes place by suspending said powder in aqueous sole of silicium dioxide. Said ageing takes place at 70-100 C and at pH 8-12. Then heat treatment is carried out. Isoelectric point of aluminium oxide being stabilized by silicium dioxide is higher 7, its specific surface is more 50 m2/g after its calcination at 1200 C within 4 h, said product comprises 1-20 mas.% of silicium dioxide. EFFECT: improved quality. 14 cl
