FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: technique of manufacturing hollow filler involving formation of burning off peat core followed by covering it with mineral shell and baking, is simplified with that formation of core is performed through balling into spherical grains, which are thereafter dried, and mineral coating is applied by way of wetting grains in slurry. According to invention, grains are dried to 55-65% of moisture content, and spherical grains are prepared from milled peat on dish modulizer. EFFECT: simplified process. 3 cl
