FIELD: roadway building. SUBSTANCE: process line for building roadway covering in winter includes device for feeding road slabs, crane for laying the same onto rubble base. Device for feeding road slabs is made in the form of crushing-sorting movable mechanism, hopper for large-size rubble and hopper for small-size rubble, electrically-hydraulically driven crusher, water tank and bitumen emulsion tank, vibration press and belt conveyor with all of them installed in series. Road slabs are supplied by crane to place of laying. The method for building road covering in winter lies in base arranging, forming road slabs on disposal site conveyor positioned just at construction site by vibration compacting just crushed fractionated rubble with concurrent impregnation by bitumen emulsion and laying down the rubble followed by after-compacting. Then slabs are held at air to be frozen and laid down onto the base levelled with sand layer. As it takes place, just crushed rubble and old rubble are produced by splitting local stone materials and crushing by electrohydraulic detonators and crushers. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg
