FIELD: antenna equipment. SUBSTANCE: laser antenna is meant for transmission of information in ultrashort range of electromagnetic waves when it is necessary to achieve high degree of directivity of radiation with relatively small physical dimensions of antenna system. Laser antenna includes exciter, laser, control unit. Control unit has focusing unit and scanner. Exciter is manufactured in the form of section of waveguide with exciting element.
