FIELD: alcohol industry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preliminary fermentation of brew that is then transferred into distillation column. Brew condensates are produced in distillation column by way of introducing aqueous solution of basic reagent in amount 0.01-5.0 g per 1 cu.dm of alcohol. When 10-90 vol. % of brew condensates is isolated in distillation column, 50-90 vol.% concentrated brew condensates are diluted to 20-50 vol.% concentration. Before transfer into epuration column, hydroselection-mode epuration is effected, crude alcohol is isolated in alcohol column into which sodium hydroxide aqueous solution is loaded, and then crude alcohol is directed into further refining and rectification steps to yield commercial produce. As above-mentioned basic reagent, sodium, potassium or ammonium hydroxide, carbonate or bicarbonate are used. Basic reagent is introduced into brew before its separation or into separated brew collector. A part (1-99 wt %) of brew may be introduced into brew before its separation and remaining part into separated brew collector. The same part of brew may be introduced into the both and remaining part into distillation column or into concentrated brew condensate when being diluted. Possible is also introduction of the same part of brew into the four indicated positions and remaining part into epuration column. EFFECT: improved process flowsheet. 9 cl
