SUBSTANCE: process includes epuration of water-alcohol mixture in epuration column upper part of which is supplied with hot water followed by concentrating epurate in alcohol column and further rectification to yield commercial alcohol. Process is distinguished with feeding air into epuration column in amount 0.1-50.0 cu.dm per 1 cu.dm of alcohol and carrying out epuration in presence of basic reagent in amount 0.01-3.0 g per 1 cu.dm of alcohol.
