FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is effected in presence of heterogeneous catalyst and inert material, in reactor filled with fluidized bed of inert material, into which catalyst is continuously fed from below and removed from top. In course of reaction, catalyst concentration is maintained within reaction zone at level equal to 1-15 g/cub.m of vapor-gas mixture under normal conditions, particles having equivalent diameter not exceeding 10 mcm. EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to bring down catalyst consumption by factor 1.5-130. 2 tbl
