FIELD: performing gas phase chemical reactions in presence of heterogeneous catalyst.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for performing gas phase chemical processes in reactor with fluidized layer of inert material and heterogeneous catalyst at equivalent diameter of particles no more than 10 mcm at concentration of 1-15g/m3 of vapor-and-gas mixture under normal conditions; fluidized layer is formed by introducing the gas in several flows; one flow is fed in pulsed mode at frequency of 0.5-10.0 Hz and duration of 10-50% of time between adjacent pulses. At pulsed delivery of one and more flows at similar frequency, time of beginning of pulse of each subsequent flow is shifted relative to time of beginning of previous flow by magnitude equal to 1/n of interval between pulses, where n is number of pulse fluxes. Besides that, delivery of two and more flows may be performed at different frequency.
EFFECT: increased power of reactor; reduced consumption of catalyst; reduced dust content of gases escaping from reactor.
