FIELD: heat- and mass-exchange equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns heat- and mass-exchange processes, for example, rectification and absorption in chemical engineering, oil refining, and other areas. Object of invention is to increase intensity of process and to reduce manufacture cost. An approach to solve this task consists in that element of irregular charge of packed columns containing thin-wall perforated ring with crimp seals and punched, bent inward curved blades is distinguished with that above-mentioned crimp seals are made with shaped, symmetric, for example, dentate outline. In this case, shaped elements of the two crimp seals are mutually displaced to a half pitch between adjacent shaped elements of one of crimp seals. EFFECT: improved mass-exchange condition.
