FIELD: domestic transformable articles. SUBSTANCE: fireplace has base which includes fixed and movable parts. fixed part consists of rear wall, side walls with wells, arch, front wall which form furnace inlet, shield, upper shelf, chimney with gates, cabinet and guard grate. Chimney is enclosed in cabinet; fireplace is provided with supporting panels mounted on levers: on one side panels have spring-loaded mat layers; on other side, panels are provided with heat-transfer members made in form of brickwork and device for creating effect of flame of dummy fuel. Fireplace is provided with chamber between upper shelf and furnace arch where collapsible framework is arranged; side walls of fireplace are provided with additional cabinets having chambers which are connected with fireplace chimney and with atmosphere.
