FIELD: experimental aerodynamics, applicable in branches of industry engages in creation of objects of transport mechanical engineering, flying vehicles, etc. SUBSTANCE: the method of aerodynamic tests of object model consists in action of an incoming flow on the model, recording of indications of strain-gauge means of measurement of aerodynamic characteristics. It is featured by the fact that additionally measured is the color spectrum of the baroindicating coating applied onto the model surface, and recording of indications of strain-gauge means of measurement of aerodynamic characteristics is accomplished simultaneously with measurement of the baroindicating coating color spectrum, according to which the distribution of pressure over the model surface is determined. EFFECT: enhanced certainty of the results of weight tests of aerodynamic characteristics, reduced expenditures connected with preparation and execution of tests. 3 dwg
