FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, electric heaters. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of zigzag-shaped resistive element by means of cutting of opposing-parallel groves from foil which longitudinal axis is perpendicular to grooves, application of one side of resistive element blank over insulating temperature-stable ribbon, cutting projected ends of zigzags, connection of power supply wires to resistive element and gluing another side of resistive element on temperature-stable insulating ribbon. Blanking die without spaces for cutting resistive element has twin cutting rings with given width of grooves and matrices which provide lateral displacement of each pair of cutting rings and matrices from each step of supply of foil ribbon. Cutting edges of rings are inclined inside with respect to surface of foil ribbon at angle of 4-5 degrees. When grooves are cut, resistive element is rolled between rollers. Width of insulating temperature-stable ribbon which is glued on one side is greater than width of resistive element. After its gluing on resistive element it is bent on face side of resistive element which is mounted in housing with cap. Said housing provides grooves for connection of power supply wires. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing and increased reliability. 6 dwg
