FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has diodes connected in rectifier bridge circuit, magnetic amplifier whose main winding is connected through one lead to supply mains and its other lead is connected to unlike-polarity leads of two diodes, two similar circuits set up of series-connected resistors and capacitors whose common point of connection is connected to unlike-polarity leads of two other diodes and to second wire of supply mains, and loose leads connected to rectifier bridge output and to lamp electrodes. Current is induced in magnetic amplifier control winding by means of external voltage supply. Device circuit implementing autocontrol incorporates, in addition, photodetector and amplifier loaded into magnetic amplifier control winding. EFFECT: improved reliability and safety of device, extended current control range of lamp, improved economic efficiency of device. 2 cl, 2 dwg
