SUBSTANCE: device has diodes 1-4 connected into rectifier bridge circuit, choke coil one of whose leads is connected to supply mains and other lead, to unlike polarity leads of diodes 1 ,2, capacitor 6 one of whose leads is connected to cathodes of diodes 1, 3 and to electrodes of gas-discharge lamp 10, capacitor 7 one of whose leads is connected to anodes of diodes 2, 4 and other lead, to electrodes of gas-discharge lamp. It is also provided with two voltage regulator diodes 8, 9 whose cathodes and anodes are connected to leads of capacitors 6, 7, respectively and other leads, to inputs of bridge rectifier.
