METHOD OF NITROGLYCEROL PROLONGED ACTION PREPARING Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry and technology. SUBSTANCE: method is based on mixing structure-forming substances with solvent, addition of drug followed by dispersing, drying and tablet pressing. Structure-forming substances: methylcellulose and lactose; solvent: distilled water. Mixing is carried out by separate dissolving methylcellulose in distilled water at 95 ± 5 C at ratio = 2:100 and lactose in distilled water at 85 + 5 C at ratio = 40: 100 followed by combining the obtained solutions. Drugs: nitroglycerol microgranules containing, wt.-%: nitroglycerol, barium sulfate, egg powder, vaselin oil, ethylcellulose, acetylphthalylcellulose and lactose at their ratio to structure-forming substances = (2.5:3)-(6:7.5). Then microgranules were loaded in quasi-liquid working zone of apparatus and solution of structure-forming substances is sprayed on microgranules at simultaneous granulate drying. The latter is stirred for 10-15 min with calcium stearate at ratio = 100:0.1 before tablet pressing. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 2 cl
