FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has adapter flange 1 and pressure flange 2 interconnected by screws 3 through spherical split ring 4 and washer 5 with gasket 6, thus clamping and positioning grinding wheel 7. At assembling, grinding wheel is initially located from resilient member 10 and is balanced by weights 11. Spherical belts made on pressure flange and wheel, owing to assembling through spherical split ring, provide interference, thus relieving the grinding wheel from centrifugal forces. Device makes it possible to compensate for loss of machining efficiency caused by reduction of grinding wheel diameter with wear by turning washer relative to adapter flange and thus increasing width of grinding by increasing amplitude of vibration of wheel-to-blank contact zone.
