FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two removable flanges slanting at an angle α, nut and grinding wheel with central hole at an angle α to end faces. Bushing which height is equal to wheel height is inserted in hole tightly. Washer with sphere-shaped hole of radius R is press-fitted into bushing. Ring is installed on spindle tightly. Its external surface is shaped as a sphere of radius R. Ring is positioned in spherical hole of washer thus forming a hinge. In this case, centers of washed and ring spheres are located at crossing point of grinding wheel plane of symmetry with spindle axis. Grinding wheel is mounted on spindle on flexible member consisting of two bushings with beads slanted at an angle α. Metal inserts are vulcanized in bushings. The hinge is arranged between flexible bushings. The device facilitates removal of materials and formation of chips. It provides for complete suppression of self-oscillations and improvement of worked surface quality. EFFECT: higher efficiency of working. 2 cl, 8 dwg
