FIELD: glass industry. SUBSTANCE: scope of invention covers manufacturing objects from glass-forming melts, for example, mineral and refractory wool and fibers, and immobilization of harmful industrial wastes. Method is realized by way of loading and melting initial raw material in induction furnace with cooled bowl, heat treatment of melt including superheating and attaining turbulent flow mode of melt in melting zone, and cooling and attaining laminar flow mode of melt in output zone with subsequent conversion of melt into product. Method is distinguished with that turbulent flow of melt is attained by overheating melt by 400-1000 C in relation to melt liquid temperature or melt crystallization upper limit temperature. Relative size of melt in melting zone is chosen in the range presented in description of invention. Laminar flow mode of melt is attained by way of lowering intensity of magnetic field of field magnet in output zone by 30-90% in relation to its value in melting zone. Apparatus includes induction furnace consisting of cooled metallic bowl and field magnet, raw material loading mechanism, and means for manufacturing product from glass- forming melt. Bowl is provided with melt discharge means and barrier separating bowl into melting and output zones. Filling coefficient of field magnet window in melting zone is determined from formulas presented in description. Similar coefficient for output zone is 1.4- 3.0 times lower.
