SUBSTANCE: method involves examination of peripheral blood erythrocytes and intoxication index is determined by the formula where (% content): E - ekinocyte amount; P - poikilocyte amount; H - amount of hemolyzing forms; D - diskocyte amount; St - stomatocyte amount. The presence of light, median, severe and extremely severe degree of intoxication is determined at value index 0.16-0.30, 0.31-1.0, 1.01-1.6 and above 1.6, respectively.
