FIELD: cleaning of low-octane-number liquid wastes containing organic admixtures from radionuclides. SUBSTANCE: method involves ozonizing organic compounds, filtering, and two-step ion exchange. Ozonizing is conducted at pH of 7.0-8.0 until this value changes by 0.2-0.6. Under these conditions, organic compounds are oxidizer to desired degree at which oxidation products are easily separated from liquid phase. Upon ozonization, solution is filtered through zeolite, such as clinoptilolite, and then it is subjected to synthetic-resin base ion exchange. EFFECT: improved cleaning factor of liquid radioactive wastes, reduced quantity of radioactive wastes. 2 cl, 1 tbl
