FIELD: production of extra-pure radioisotope preparation Pu-237. SUBSTANCE: Pu-237 isotope production process includes irradiation of target with U-235 enriched to 99.9%, target dissolving in acid, rhenium separation with deposition of lanthanum fluoride, and chromographic separation of Pu-237 from solution; target is irradiated at energy of alpha-particles ranging from 24.0 to 25.0 meV; in addition, mass-spectrometric separation of Pu-237 is made from mixture of Pu isotopes separated from solution. EFFECT: improved parity of preparation which makes investigation of plutonium metabolism more effective and provides for studying its metabolism in human organism. 2 cl, 1 tbl
