FLOAT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2083103 C1

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: float has body made in form of wooden ball with non-equal arm rectilinear rocker passing through center of ball, arm ratio of rocker being 1:3. Bright drop-shaped signalling device is fitted on end of longer arm. Counterweight-ball with hole, travels along shorter arm. Thanks to it shorter arm dips in water, and longer arm with signalling device is raised over water in inclined position. Wire bow with additional float is connected to shorter arm to stabilize inclined position of float. Fishing line is passed through eyelets and hole in ball along rod and is let out through shorter portion to hook with bait. When fish bites the bait, shorter arm moves in either side and longer arm with signalling device moves and signals the bite. Movement of the longer arm is the greater the greater is length of longer arm as compared with shorter arm (proportional relationship). Float with such signalling device can be used for long-distance fishing. To permit long-distance casting, float is provided with additional weight on wire clip freely handling on float. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwg
