BALANCING FLOAT "CRANE II" Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A01K93/02

Abstract RU 2447656 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: float consists of a bright bite alarm and the housing. The housing is made in the form of a floating ball. The ball is connected with a straight unequal-arm beam. On the beam the counterbalance and a device for passage of fishing line are located. Housing of the float consists of two hemispheres interconnected by two bridges of ⌀5 mm. Through the center of the housing a straight unequal-arm rod-beam with a ratio of 1:3 is passing. At the point of division into two arms on the rod a crossarm with the sides of 10 mm is located rigidly connected to it and perpendicular to the rod. The sides of the crossarm enter into holes located in the center of flat surfaces of the hemispheres of the housing and can rotate freely in it. When the long arm of the beam goes down due to the greater weight, it strike upon the bridge, which is placed at an angle of 30° above the horizontal axis, and thus fixes the long arm of the float with the alarm in an inclined position above the water.

EFFECT: design enables to improve the aerodynamics of a float in cast.
