FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: float is made of a body in the form of a ball having a through cylindrical hole extending along its diameter and a rigid rod mounted in this hole. At one end of the rod a bite indicator is fixed, and on the other - attachment means to the line. The body has the ability of movement along the rod. A tube from a resiliently deformable material is put on the rod with the possibility of replacement. The outer diameter of the tube is greater than the diameter of the through cylindrical hole of the body. The tube is fixed between the bite indicator and the attachment means to the line to prevent the possibility of its movement along the rod. For the additional fixation of the body in the places of the rod exit from the body, locking elements are mounted on the tube.
EFFECT: increased service life of the float.
