FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: float has ball-type housing connected with straight-line rocker with unequal-length arms. Rocker has sliding counterweight and device to let pass the fishing line. Counterweight and fishing line passing device are located on shorter arm where counterweight balances the longer arm and increases sensitivity of float. Fishing line passing device is made in form of elastic bushing secured square to rod and it serves to prevent winding of fishing line around float stem at casting. End of rocker longer arm is furnished with bright drop-shaped indicator, and arms proper can be made with length, ratio 1:3, to intensify visual signal.
