FIELD: medicine, endoprosthetics. SUBSTANCE: thigh bone capitulum is conically resected in defect area by removing pathologically changed tissues, defect is replaced with endoprosthesis by inserting it into thigh bone so to place capitate part of endoprosthesis at the level of subcapitelial area, lateral surface of fixing element should be rested on Adams arc with its lower part. Endoprosthesis is made of titanium being conical and of forming surface with longitudinal and cross grooves. EFFECT: decreased resected area of thigh bone capitulum, improved mechanical properties, improved joint decompression and reliable fixation of endoprosthesis. 2 cl, 2 cl, 2 dwg
