FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous administration of doxycyclin hydrochloride (dose - 1 mg) dissolved in polyglucin at ratio 1:200 and kept preliminary for 5 h to golden hamsters infected with P. malei 10230 (dose - 500 mk. k. that corresponds 200 LD50, subcutaneously). Drug is injected once per a day for 5 days. Observation period is 30 days from infection onset. Protective effect of method is 80%. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment, decreased treatment period. 1 tbl
